Isn’t It Time?

Energy Shifts: Moving Into More Aligned Connections to Life

I’ve written a lot about change and transition lately because that is the season I’m in.

As things are slowly beginning to settle and create more aligned feelings of stability, I feel my body returning to its natural equilibrium.

The word that came up this morning was happiness.

I’ve moved away from happiness in its contextual aspects because happiness can often connect me to a temporary state — something that arises depending on what is before me.

So I’m going to dive a little deeper.

Happiness.

Isn’t this the purpose of life?

-Sri Swami Satchidananda

We spend so much time moving through the sludgy parts of life that we can begin to adhere to its stickiness. We drown out our soul’s voice. We disconnect from our intuition and the blueprint that is there to bring us more joy.

Why do we feel the need to reinforce stories that no longer serve us?

Isn’t it time we allow ourselves to follow the guidance of what makes us happy?

Aren’t we worthy of that?

Can we devote ourselves to living in a way that invites more of what we truly want?

I connect with a term I call “living the Reiki way.” This is just a contextual term I have learned to embody over the past few years.

This is where we accept ourselves fully, believe in ourselves, and feel worthy of feeling good and lighthearted.

So where in life can we become loyal to ourselves in these aspects?

When I’m in the energy of love — not the triggering version or the lessons we sometimes attach to it, but love itself — I feel a connection to happiness that is overwhelmed by simply being.

When I break things down into the simplest terms, being able to unequivocally give and receive love, and all that accompanies the beauty of being human, allows life to lead itself from the inside out.

Happiness comes from a sense of security, safety, trust, and knowing that we are never alone.

Knowing that we are so loved beyond our consciousness.

So loved beyond the human veil between our lower selves and higher selves.

Can we wholeheartedly live by that?

No defenses.

No need to convince others of anything.

Just being.

Can we live in this freedom of love?

Again, not the trigger point of the word, but the true essence of it.

Can we love ourselves?

How can we begin showing it?

How can we honor ourselves throughout the day and become our own best friend?

How can we be content with who we are, what we are, how we are, and why we are — unapologetically?

Can we speak less and experience more?

Can we act accordingly and allow our actions to become our communication?

No defenses.

No performance.

Just pure acceptance of who we are.

When we do this, the world begins to accept us differently because we have stopped asking it to validate who we already are.

And for those outside of this acceptance???

It was never for them anyway!

Can we flow with the energy of the moment and pivot as needed?

Can we be present in the moment without judgment?

Can we be loyal to the “thing” that really drives us into the deepest part of our being?

Can we live life without forcing ourselves onto others?

Can we allow others to find their own way without a counterforce, an opinion, or control disguised as love?

Can we do our work, and then step back?

Knowing there is a time for all aspects of life to move through us — because they will.

Life is forever changing.

Happiness often connects to the present moment when we are able to accept things as they are.

Fall is the season of letting go.

So today, can you allow yourself to prepare for the spring harvest?

Can we plant seeds that yield more of what we want rather than what we don’t want?

Today, ask yourself:

What do I wish to plant that can be nourished through this season and the next?

Can I be loyal to that thing?

Can I nurture it without forcing it?

Can I trust the process enough to let it become what it is meant to become?

So that when the time comes, I can embrace it with my entire being.

This becomes our energy shift.

Returning to ourselves.

Returning to love.

Returning to the simple, beautiful experience of being alive.

So, how do you want to embrace this day?

Whatever that maybe, the energy will be directed back to you.

Choose wisely.

Choose you.

You are well worth it!
