Still Standing - Manifesting From A Thought

Still Standing – Manifesting from a Thought

The Creation Of What Comes From Within
The Creation Of What Comes From Within

The family, the job, the relationships, the responsibilities, the budget and finances — they all demand our strength, our time, and our faith. Yet somehow, through every season, we find the courage to continue. To stand. To breathe. To remember that everything happens for a reason. And when there’s nothing left to prove, winter arrives — quiet, reflective, and necessary.

Still standing…

Unscathed through the pain, we learn that even in the darkest moments, the sun still rises and sets — every day, faithfully — just as our thoughts give birth to the visions we hold within the mind’s eye. These visions are the seeds of reality, the extensions of our consciousness, the proof that we are co-creators of our path.

It takes courage to dig deeper than the surface, to look at ourselves with honesty and humility. It takes curiosity to learn from our mistakes, our downfalls, and even our triumphs. To rise from the ashes with gratitude, to hold fast to our purpose no matter how heavy the weight — that is what it means to still be standing.

When we pause long enough to reflect, we see how truly fortunate we are. Life’s circumstances begin to reveal themselves as blessings — some disguised as challenges, others shining brightly as gifts. Many will never know such fortune, never hear what is whispered into our awareness, never experience the grace of a chance to start again.

I am fortunate in countless ways to be still standing. Raised in a two-parent household, in a neighborhood of safety and community, surrounded by opportunities and love — these are the invisible hands that lifted me, the “hands up” that God placed along my path. And with these blessings comes responsibility — to interpret, to share, to create.

“Give me an hour plus a pen and a pad” (one of the most repetitive phrases I continue to embrace - LL COOL J) — and what begins as a simple thought becomes something alive — a mirror of the soul. Thoughts pour out in ink: some meant to heal, some meant to be purged, others never meant to see the light of day. Some ideas are burned away before they take form, not ready to be born into existence. Others are nurtured — watered, tended, allowed to grow — becoming pathways that will guide me and perhaps others through what lies ahead.

An original flash of inspiration or a passing whisper — both carry the potential to bloom. The pen becomes a vessel, transforming thought into creation, letting what needs to be released go and what needs to be planted take root. This is the give and take of creativity, the breath of manifestation. What we let go of returns in another form, reborn in the cycles of life.

This is the music of my soul.

Let it procreate.

Let it live.

Still standing.

Unscathed.

There is positivity in the pain, there is endless creativity in the skies above. I am still standing. Even when sorrow attempts to swallow joy, even when storms rise against me — I remain.

Still standing.

Confidently humble.

Embracing what comes from a Higher Source.

We all have something we can draw upon.

It’s a gift that layer dormant until I needed to call upon it.

Blessings come from unlikely sources.

Still Standing…unscathed and grateful.

And so it is.
