Ever wonder why medical fields speak a language most don’t understand? All terms are derived in Latin - this makes everything seem smarter and originates to meanings and terms derived from Latin.
As I sit in the doctor’s office, I’m looking at a painting with my last name partially printed on it (and partial name of my wife’s maiden name).

This got me to thinking….
What Is in a Name?
A name is never just a name.
It carries vibration — lineage — frequency — memory.
Each one holds a story the soul chose to tell through sound.
When I sit with mine — Gallinoto — I hear something ancient in it.
Rooted in gall, the boldness and rawness of life,
and noto, from the Latin notus — to be known, to be seen, to be recognized.
Together they speak to a journey:
to transform bitterness into awareness,
to move from hidden to known,
to meet the world through authenticity rather than defense.
Our names are invitations — sacred teachers in plain sight.
They remind us of what we are here to embody.
They call us home to our truest sound,
the resonance of who we are beneath the noise.
Ask yourself:
What lives inside your name?
What energy does it carry when you speak it aloud?
What part of your soul awakens when you honor its meaning?
Because when we listen — really listen —
we remember that our names were never random.
They are reflections of our essence,
echoes of our purpose,
and pathways back to the nature within.
