The Divine Feminine: Remembering What Has Always Lived Within
One of the greatest gifts of the past four years has been becoming a collaborative partner with Laura Ramirez, LLC. PERIOD!
To say this community has been a lifeline in my own journey toward authenticity while helping others discover theirs would be an understatement. It has become a place where curiosity is welcomed, healing is nurtured, and people are invited to reconnect with themselves in meaningful ways.
Within the practice we offer Reiki, Breathwork, coaching, mentorship, trainings, and workshops. One of my favorite aspects of our community is that collaborative partners and guest facilitators are encouraged to share the gifts they feel called to bring into the world.
Every workshop becomes another doorway into learning, growth, and self-discovery.
Last night was truly one of those doorways for those who attended.
I had the privilege of attending ‘The Divine Feminine,’ a workshop hosted by Laura Ramirez LLC and beautifully facilitated by collaborative partner Aimee Blair, owner of Creative Compass.
If you’ve ever met Aimee, you know she has an extraordinary gift for teaching. Her passion for creativity extends far beyond making art. She helps people understand that creativity is part of our nature—it is one of the ways we remember who we are.
Throughout the evening, Aimee explored the symbolism, history, and archetypes surrounding the Divine Feminine. She invited us to consider how many cultures, stories, and historical narratives have often emphasized masculine expressions of leadership, conquest, and authority, while feminine wisdom, intuition, relationship, embodiment, and cycles of life have frequently received less attention or been interpreted through different lenses.
Whether viewed historically, psychologically, spiritually, or symbolically, it offered a powerful invitation to ask deeper questions.
One realization kept surfacing for me.
Every one of us carries both masculine and feminine qualities, this was not a new concept for me, but the “his-story” behind it purposely left out “her-story.”
The Divine Masculine isn’t about men.
The Divine Feminine isn’t about women.
They are complementary energies available to every human being.
The healthy masculine often expresses itself through structure, discernment, protection, action, direction, and purpose.
The healthy feminine often expresses itself through intuition, compassion, receptivity, creativity, connection, presence, nurturing, and trust.
Neither is superior. Harmonizing them allows us to become more whole.
Wholeness comes through relationship between the two.
When one becomes overdeveloped while the other is neglected, our lives can begin to feel out of balance. We may find ourselves constantly doing without ever simply being. We may seek control while losing connection. We may pursue achievement while forgetting presence.
As Aimee spoke, I found myself reflecting on something I hadn’t consciously recognized before.
When meditation eventually inspired me to create The Nature Within LLC, I wasn’t simply building a business.
Without realizing it, I was creating a practice that embodies many of the qualities associated with the Divine Feminine.
Nature.
Within.
Returning to the body.
Living in the present moment.
Listening before reacting.
Honoring intuition.
Recognizing our connection to one another and to the Earth.
Helping people regulate their nervous systems so they can hear their own inner wisdom.
This has always been the heart of my work.
When we reconnect with our bodies through Breathwork…
When Reiki invites us back into stillness…
When coaching helps uncover beliefs that no longer serve us…
When we step outside and simply sit with a tree, a river, or the changing seasons…
Something remarkable happens.
Our nervous system begins to soften.
Our minds become quieter.
Our creativity naturally rises to the surface.
The answers we were desperately searching for outside ourselves often become easier to hear within ourselves.
This is not about rejecting strength, discipline, or action.
It is about remembering that strength can also be gentle.
Leadership can also be compassionate.
Power can also be rooted in love.
The Divine Feminine movement, as many people understand it today, isn’t about replacing one form of power with another. Rather, it reflects a growing desire to restore balance by honoring qualities that have often been undervalued in modern life: intuition alongside logic, collaboration alongside competition, rest alongside productivity, and connection alongside achievement.
We can see these longings reflected in many current trends. More people are exploring mindfulness and meditation. Conversations about mental health and nervous system regulation have become more common. There is growing interest in spending time in nature, expressing creativity, practicing self-compassion, and building communities rooted in empathy rather than fear.
These shifts don’t belong exclusively to any one philosophy or spiritual path. They reflect a broader movement toward living with greater balance, presence, and humanity.
Perhaps that’s why this workshop resonated so deeply with me.
It reminded me that healing isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about remembering parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten (we may want to inquire a bit deeper, beyond the public educational history books of where the creation of “man” and the impacts of society was born). 😉
Thank you, Laura Ramirez LLC, for continuing to create spaces where these conversations can happen.
And thank you, Aimee (aimeeblairart, creative compass, for sharing your wisdom with such authenticity, creativity, and grace).

Sometimes the greatest discoveries aren’t about learning something new.
They’re about remembering what has always lived within.
