Frequency Leads the Action - and action reinforces the frequency

-The Nature Within

Over the past few weeks, a theme has been surfacing again and again—through coaching sessions, through breathwork connections, and within the space of spiritual mentorship:

What we hold in our frequency shapes what we do next.

Not the other way around without awareness.

We often try to change our lives through action first—do more, fix more, push harder. But beneath every action is a thought. Beneath every thought is a pattern. And beneath every pattern… is a frequency.

So what does that really mean?

The Quiet Power of Thought and Intention

Our thoughts are not just passing ideas.

They are energetic signals.

Some are loud and obvious.

Others operate quietly in the background—conditioned, inherited, or formed during moments when we didn’t yet have the awareness to choose differently.

And yet… we can change them.

Through intentional practices—affirmations, mantras, breathwork, gratitude, and self-care—we begin to reprogram where our energy naturally flows.

Not by forcing positivity.

But by meeting ourselves honestly, especially in the moments that feel like dis-ease.

Grief.

Anxiety.

Depression.

These are not failures. They are signals.

They are invitations to face what’s present, to own it without judgment, and to release what no longer aligns.

The Science Behind “Frequency”

When we talk about frequency, it’s easy to think it’s purely spiritual—but science offers its own language for understanding this.

Energy in the body can be observed and measured in several ways:

  • Brainwaves (EEG): Different mental states—stress, calm, focus, sleep—produce measurable electrical patterns.

  • Heart coherence (HRV – Heart Rate Variability): The heart emits an electromagnetic field, and its rhythm changes based on emotional states like gratitude versus stress.

  • Nervous system activity: Fight, flight, freeze, or regulated states all reflect measurable physiological responses.

  • Hormonal shifts: Cortisol, dopamine, serotonin—our internal chemistry responds directly to thought and perception.

  • Vibrational frequency: At a foundational level, all matter—including our bodies—is in motion, vibrating at different rates.

Even color, often used in energy work, corresponds to different wavelengths on the electromagnetic spectrum.

So while we may use spiritual language like “raising frequency,” the body is very much participating in real, observable shifts.

Where Attention Goes, Experience Follows

Our daily lives are not just shaped by what happens to us…

but by what we focus on within what happens.

Two people can live the same experience:

  • One anchors into gratitude

  • The other into lack or fear

And they walk away with completely different realities.

This is not denial of hardship.

It’s awareness of perspective as a creator.

When we begin each day with gratitude…

when we ground into nature…

when we bring ourselves out of the mind and back into the body…

We aren’t escaping life.

We are choosing how we meet it.

Anxiety as a Mismatch

Anxiety is often misunderstood.

At its core, it can be a signal that something within us is out of alignment:

  • A thought that no longer matches our deeper truth

  • An action that conflicts with our values

  • A belief system that no longer fits who we are becoming

The body responds. And it remembers — sometimes holding an annoying grudge.

Not as punishment—but as communication.

Belief systems are learned. Which means they can also be rewritten.

And every time we set an intention toward a more aligned version of ourselves, we begin to shift the internal program.

Becoming New Without Rejecting the Old

This is where the deeper work is happening right now—in coaching, in sessions, in sacred spaces:

People are not just trying to “improve.”

They are evolving.

And with that evolution comes a quiet but important truth:

You cannot fully step into a new version of yourself

while rejecting the version that got you here.

The old patterns…

the outdated beliefs…

the protective habits…

They served a purpose.

They kept you safe at one point in time.

So instead of pushing them away, we meet them with:

  • Compassion

  • Understanding

  • Grace

We acknowledge them… and then gently choose differently.

This is how transformation becomes sustainable.

Frequency Leads the Action

When you shift your internal state:

  • Your thoughts begin to change

  • Your emotional responses soften or strengthen with clarity

  • Your body responds differently

  • And your actions… naturally follow

Not forced.

Not performed.

But aligned.

So the work is not just “what should I do next?”

The work becomes:

“What am I holding within me right now?”

Because from that place…

Your next step is already being shaped.

A Gentle Practice

If you’re feeling called to begin or deepen this work, keep it simple:

  • Start your morning with gratitude (even 3 things)

  • Use breathwork to return to your body

  • Notice your thoughts without immediately believing them

  • When discomfort arises, ask: “What is this trying to show me?”

  • Meet old versions of yourself with respect, not resistance

You are not here to become someone else entirely.

You are here to remember, refine, and realign with who you are beneath the noise.

And as you do…

Your frequency will shift.

And your actions will follow.
