Judgement Day

Judgment: My Kryptonite ⚡

We all wrestle with it in some shape or form. Judgment.

It’s the subtle whisper in our heads: “Do you accept me if I show myself this way?” It’s the heavy energy that can hang over families, friendships, and even within ourselves. For me, judgment has been both my teacher and my kryptonite.

The Energy of Judgment

Long before words are spoken, our energies interact. Judgmental frequency shows up in those exchanges—before we even realize it. It often stems from past pain, betrayal, and broken trust. That “will you be there for me when…” kind of wound.

Over time, fear and guilt shape our personalities. We start believing our own stories. Sometimes it takes an “outsider” to hold up a mirror. To show us the grooves we’ve worn down in our energy fields.

I’ve lived much of my life in that heightened awareness—my receptors trained to pick up the sting of judgment, especially in unsafe or high-pressure environments. That sensitivity has become both a gift and a burden.

Judgment in the Body

The Tao teaches that what we don’t process gets stored in the body. And I’ve seen this truth in myself and in others:

  • Organs hold grief, anger, and fear until they manifest as agitation or illness.

  • Judgments lodge in the solar plexus (our self-worth) and pierce the heart chakra (our capacity to give and receive love).

  • Left unprocessed, these subtle energies weigh down our spirit like sludge.

Reiki, Taoist organ practices, breathwork and meditation have helped me clear those blockages. They don’t erase judgment, but they give me a way to transform it before it makes me sick.

Practice as Medicine

I wasn’t given this understanding overnight. My ability to read energy—my “craft”—was a gift, but also something I’ve practiced with discipline for years.

Discipline matters. Not just when things are hard, but when life feels easy, too.

  • Breathwork helps me regulate my nervous system.

  • Reiki clears out the energetic debris that judgment leaves behind.

  • Meditation grounds me in the present moment, so I don’t drown in old stories.

Without these anchors, my shield against judgment feels full of holes. With them, I can return to balance, harmony, and peace.

The Tao, Lao-Tzu, and Christ Consciousness

I’ve always been drawn to the Tao. Lao-Tzu’s words remind me: give evil nothing to resist, and it will go away on its own accord.

For me, this merges with Christ Consciousness—the same Light spoken of in Buddhism, just in a different light. Joy and heart-spaced frequencies are not theories; they’re felt in the body when judgment is released.

Organized religion resonated for me (don’t worry, this isn’t the avenue for political or religious rhetoric). Taoism (a philosophy), authors such as Wayne Dyer, meditation, and Reiki opened a path to balance. After grief, addiction, and exhaustion wore me down, the Tao offered harmony when I needed it most.

Why It Matters

Judgment is an energy sucker. It steals joy, connection, and presence. In families, it can feel like an airport of unspoken exchanges buzzing overhead. In relationships, it can pierce the heart.

But here’s the truth:

We are not doomed to repeat our stories.

Healing is possible through patience, compassion, and practice.

Balance comes when we stop resisting and start listening.

Shifting from Judgment to Faith

The mind is shaped by suggestion—what we focus our attention on. If judgment and fear can change our physiology, so can faith and sincerity.

  • Sincerity is more powerful than joy or gratitude. It unlocks doors we didn’t know were closed.

  • Meditation creates space between the story and the truth.

  • Faith unifies our subconscious and conscious minds, allowing us to manifest the life we desire.

As Lao-Tzu teaches, opposing energies can flow into balance. The Nature Within is about returning to that balance—through Reiki, breath, Taoist wisdom, and meditation.

✨ Reflection for You:

Where do you notice judgment showing up in your life?

The effects of judgment can feel heavy
The effects of judgment can feel heavy

How does it feel in your body?

And most importantly—what practice can you lean on to release it and return to peace?
