I Always Come Back Home, Here.
T–A–O
In the practice of the Tao
it’s all about balance —
the harmony of opposing energies,
the trust in the natural flow of life.
We adapt
by staying centered
in the quiet space of the heart.
It’s a practice of humility,
sincerity,
compassion,
patience,
and simplicity.
When we lose alignment,
we feel lack,
we chase attachment,
we seek safety.
But the Tao —
the master —
strips you of all you think you know.
This is the gift of patience.
It is earned,
not given.
Whether I’m on top of the world,
or on the hamster wheel of life,
I always come back here.
Period.
Tao.
When my fire is overactive,
and my water too still —
I come back here;
Tao.
When I must grieve,
I come back home;
here;
Tao.
When I am humbled,
to feel trust again,
I come back here;
home;
Tao.
When I need to surrender,
I come back here;
Tao.
When nothing is done,
nothing remains undone;
Tao.
When I must complete;
Tao.
When I need to simplify;
Tao.
When I write;
Tao.
Every time I return —
it’s always through the Tao.
They say it’s okay
for a “man” to walk away —
just contemplate “his” return.
Life humbles us all.
We all return to ground zero,
to our original nature,
our essence;
Tao.
When I come One with Reiki;
Tao.
When I move into the present moment;
Tao.
In whatever way we return —
we come back to service,
and connection;
Tao.
Call it what you want,
I call it Tao.
Just a word —
yet one I embody when I speak,
when I write,
when I breathe.
It’s a feeling that feels like home;
Tao.
It’s where the stars align,
and the visions are real;
Tao.
It’s where ease and flow
are not concepts —
but truth embodied.
We feel it,
we live it;
Tao.
Those who speak,
don’t know.
Those who know,
don’t speak.
The Tao is earned —
in the quiet.
In the wood chopped daily,
And the water carried.
In the honest return.
It never leaves —
it only waits
for us to remember.
For us to allow.
Perfect timing.
Always.
Return is the movement;
Tao.
